fitting a winch into standard bumper was created by kevant
While i was browsing the pictures on this website i noticed a couple of jimnys had a winch installed without having to go to the expense of putting an ARB bumper on. That would suit me fine if i could do that as i dont often go off road and i would like to keep my jimny looking as normal as poss but a winch would be very handy could anyone please explain how they have put the winch on and what have they connected it to does it go on to a tray then weld straight to the chassis or what ?

Hi,
There are a couple with built in winches in the pictures, the most recent being from Colin F (see COLIN )
Colin has said he will send in pictures of the mount as this subject is very popular!

Thanks for the reply Martin that is exactly what i want to do to mine just cant work out how Colin managed to fit it all behind there i have seen those winches and to get a decent 6000lb winch jammed into there with no mess is not an easy job i cant wait to see his further posts on the subject. O and im a new user been looking round for a decent site for the Jimny this is excellent top job.
