spring spacers? was created by chrisjimny
Hi, could someone help me out please?
Im after a small lift for my (mainly road going)jimny, which has 215/75/15 Grabber AT2's fitted.
Im looking at spring spacers and the front shock extension bolts.
My question is, there are extension bolts available for the front, but what about the rear shocks?
Any advice or info on the matter would be gratefully appreciated
Cheers
Chris

Hi,
I've just fitted Bits4Vits 1.25 spacers to my Jimny with the standard shocks, and it rides ok on the road & green lanes.
A little tip though, buy some spring compressers, it makes the job a lot easier!

Thanks for that mate, is there any travel left in the shocks?
Have you fitted the shock spacers at all?
Mine is only used on farm fields and muddy tracks when off road, but the tyres hit up in the arches if I go over any big-ish bumps so I only need a small lift to help prevent it.

hi,
no shock spacers, the lift is only about 1 inch high so shocks are working ok.
if your not happy with the ride fit shock spacers later.
