Stiff accelerator pedal was created by coptleigh
This has got worse over the last few weeks, so checked it out and its not the cable, from what i can see its the actual pedal itself, the pedal bar that runs through the mounting brackets is rubbing metal on metal!!!
Does this make sense????
Anyway, this is whats causing the friction, is there suppose to be some sort of barrier between them or is it down to being twisted or something.
finally is there a remedy?, can it be changed for another one from another Suzuki??
Cheers

Try WD40 on it, clean any dust mud out of it, any rust got in there from water getting in there?

Tried that and grease, no rust from water ,,,, it actually looks like that its grinding, and wearing grooves in the shaft ,,,,,, from the two plates it goes through!! is there some sort of bush missing that keeps metal away from metal?? or is it just a bad design

Thanks for that Martin, it shows no kind of separator between the shaft and the two locating holes, wonder if its been twisted/bent by me somehow???
Any advice, or is it a trip to the breakers to see if I can find a one, or someone on here got one for sale??
Cheers

I would have thought that bit would be as cheap as chips as it's only the throttle pedal bit. It's separate from the brake and clutch mount.
Loads being broke on Ebay if no one on here has one.
