Narrow or wide MT-Tires: 215/75 R 15 or 195 R 15?

As far as I know, the 2" suspension allows for full shock strut compression so, if the terrain calls for it, the car comes as close to the tires as the standard suspension. Hence, If 215/75 R15 might rub without lift, they might also rub with "only" a 2" suspension. So, maybe the 215/75R15 need a little bodylift also?
If really wanted to you could get 235's under with a 2"inch lift but you will need to chop your front bumper up. Here in Aus a heap of guys run 215's with no form of any lift.
No need for a body lift unless you are going to 30x9.5 or 31's!
