Supension: OME or Trailmaster (2 / 50mm) was created by Canoodle Moose
Hi Folks,

I am new here and the proud owner of this 1998 Jimny VX FJ which I just bought as my hunting car (I have two other cars for the street etc):

(no jokes about the color please)

I only want to use the Jimny for the 10Km to my hunting grounds and the partially extreme terrain there. We have an altitude difference of 200m, steep forrest and wet areas. Since I live in Austria, we have all surfaces from forrest ground to mud, snow and ice.

So, what 2"/50mm suspension should I install in my jimny, Old Man Emu (OME) or Trailmaster (TM) and why?

Have a good day,
CM

Welcome to Bigjimny. Better you get your credit card ready for the jimny thing! The bug bites once you start modding.

If you use your jimny everday on the road go for the trailmaster comfort version form big jimny.
If you use it off road a lot go for the sports version.
Hope this helps.
