I hit a deer in June 2006 not in the Jimny, I hit a deer in the Jimny, March 2010, quite a bit of damage guess £2,500. Both insurance claims.

A deer hit the Jimny tonight only the front bumper and the under black plastic panel that holds the foglights damaged.

I think I might bite the bullet and not claim the insurance this time.

What are the panels thoughs on the purchase price of a new front bumper and painted. A new under bumper plastic panel.

Its a March 2007 JLX+

Cheapest way would be to get a sceond hand part and paint it

Could get a steel one and then it would be deer proof!

Yeh you would save money on the painting side aswell as being SOLID if you bought a heavy duty steel bumper, other than than id definatly go second hand and paint locally..

Pretty unlucky that though!

Lots of the Guys (and Gals) not just on here have fitted steel winch bumpers shurely you'd get a second hand one, might have to look for a while though.

E bay prices from breakers seem to be around £125 ( or as said much less from some one on here) but you then have to get it home and spray it, we were looking for a rear blue one to save getting it sprayed up, can only be a matter of time!

Yes I turned back on Monday morning at 7:10am probably would have got over but thought the Jimny may slide back on the really steep bit at the top. So went by Stonehaven and Culter.

Just stared working in Westhills.

I wonder say you get a green bumper will that take a different colour on it. Will give the body shop a phone.
