I thought I'd share a funny moment from our Laning Holiday in The Lakes earlier this year.
We had just done some reasonable hardcore rock crawling which I'd made my partner Lindz drive twice for the photo opportunity, the result of which was the clutch smelt a bit.
We stopped for a break when a couple walking came past us. The man commented on the burning smell and I explained we'd given the clutch a bit of abuse and that it was OK and nothing to worry about.
The woman then said, shouldn't you pour some water on it to stop it burning?
Does anyone know of this Special Clutch Cooling Water that she speaks of???
Bless her!!!

Hi there, we went all over really, I'll have a word with our Navigator - our friend Claire as she was good enough to do all the research. Alot of what we did were UCR's so aren't as easy to find on an OS Map.
I'll see what I can get and it may be a case of photocopying some lists of lanes and either scanning them and sending to you by email or posting to you. I'll see what I can get and PM you.
If I forget, give me a gentle reminder.
You'll not get passes for gatescarth this year though as there is a TRO all summer and there is always one in the winter. Next April/May will be the earliest and they have a waiting list as long as your arm. There are other god lanes and if you travel across to Yorkshire and Derbyshire there are others within reach.
