Looks like mine when I bought it - black, shiney with bigger MT's on - except mine has less miles and less holes than yours before your repairs.

£175k miles - impressive stuff - no excuses for the rest of us then - I'll be drawing my pension by the time I get my Jimny to that mileage! Then I'll be glad it's got coil springs and I got rid of the SJ!

Thought I'd best make myself scarce today. Hid in the garage as the missus was on her day off and having one of those hoover/dust/polish/wash/iron days.

So I fitted this to Little Jim:-

Took me two hours 'cause of my silly knee, unable to bend and kneel!!
Had a little test drive and there's an improvement in the 'feel'.
Time will tell.
Still have the ORA arms to fit but not up to that as yet.

One other thing though. Jim can't get much worse on the bends. While I was down there, I noticed that the anti roll bar has been removed. Makes me feel better just knowing that. LoL!!

So it's -
Arms next followed by CB install, snorkel and possibly rear radius arms(?)
Oh, and h/d front/rear bumpers. Bigger wheels. Lobster box or just perhaps a SJ t/box? Where's the Lotto ticket!

Onwards and upwards!

K :)

As you can see, this one is clamped to the axle.
Long story but have been told that instead of attaching to the chassis, it may be better to attach to the axle.
I don't know, perhaps I'm the guinea pig?
It does feel better. I need to take it on a longer run over my usual route then I'll know if there's a difference in the feel, hopefully for the better.
Can't go now as I can't depress the clutch. :S
Fingers crossed.
