Having bought a jimny and spending much hard earned cash on getting the car running in a straight line, i had 2 play days then was forced to sell my Jimny due to buying my 1st house, now just under a year later i am fortunate enough to be in a position to buy another toy. Looking on ebay i find my loved old toy for sale again in Kent, looked after by Wayne who i had sold the car to, after 1 call the jimny was once mine again

Sounds good mate, start your own thread up in the jimny bit and put some pics up from when you sold it an what it's like now, much change on the car visually when the other bloke owned it?

looking at full 6 point roll cage and the grp front wings as mine have seen better days, also im not happy with the rear arches, as the rear bumper has been removed by the previous owner in place for a steel fabricated bumper. Cant wait till it warms up outside so i can get some good pictures.
Just not sure about a new mod to the jimny since i had it last, due to fitting a big 10000lbs winch, wayne has fitted Rover 400 springs inside the 3' lift springs to compensate for the extra weight, im just not to sure if this is safe!

sounds good. i wouldnt say it was safe:blink: , due to if one of them springs came out of where it is located and got intwined with one of the jimny ones it could end with you having to buy replacement springs

was thinking the same with the springs, im not a fan of budget bodges, rather do things properly, think i need to look for heavy duty springs, fancy those castor corrected trailing arms aswell as i currently have caster correction bushes, not the best for over a 2' lift.
