unless you want remoulds (which if your car transports your family particularly in icy weather you dont!) you have already been quoted a cheap budget tyre, it is easy to give 470 for a set of decent M&S and premiums brands like michelin latitude cross will likly set you back 530!

yeh id suggest ul want some all terrains, but you will struggle to get good stuff cheap. Mine are mud terrains and cost 380 for bf goodrich.

Dad is just up the road in Blaenavon. He has just ordered a set of AT2's for his Jimny.
He paid £280 from Tyres direct.. fitting cost him £just shy of £30 and they took 4 days to be delivered.

I have these on mine at £63.40 each. Really good in mud and pretty good on the road too.
