Not directly on the headlight plastic exchange/repair: Maybe you could use H4 LED bulbs, also in Norway? In the EU there are some that are certified for the JB43 headlights with the E13 9328. They are produce by OSRAM, e.g., H4-LED SP 450.

yes, I know.
Osram and one or two others as well.
Won't get properly dark here until September now, so Ill look into this come autumn.

But the lenses, looked at my spare lamps a few years back and found I would not bother considering prices for the lenses and the amount of work changing them..

My lense covers also go slightly cloudy (2006 VVT), so I re-polish them by hand once or twice a year.

Method: First pass with superfine wet & dry paper used very wet, in small circular movements over the whole lense surface. I start with 2500 grit and only go to 2000 grit if the lense is really bad (like after winter). Then clean off off and dry to check progress, repeat if necessary. Then I use Duraglit wadding (the brass version, not the silver) to polish, again in small circular motions. Buff off with a soft dry cloth to check progress, repeat if necessary. Stand back and admire!  It wont be like brand new lenses, but this option always works for me.

As with all these things - test on a small area first, and always start with the finest paper first - scratches will need work to buff out. I learned about the Duraglit thing 45 years ago at design college when invisible jointing pieces of clear acrylic.

Best,

Matt
