Hi

My 2002 Suzuki Jimny has an intermittent problem. Sometimes she won't start when cold, sometimes won't start when hot. Has stalled at left hand corners, then it won't start for ten minutes or so then fires up no problem. Will idle sometimes with no problem but will occasionally stall, very rarely can feel it missing when driving.

Spanish cabriolet model.

Any ideas?

First off is it persistently showing any engine warning light? Have you had it read for fault codes, It does sound like it could be sensor related.

Sounds typical of a failing crank position sensor. Symptoms common to most fuel injected vehicles with that fault.

Hi

Engine warning light only comes on when it stalls, not on failing to start from cold. Hubby has lost his code reader, ordering a new one. Thank you for your response.
