I found this quite a good video, not sure how factually true it is, I'm sure some on here could point out any errors.

the facts are correct as far as i could tell. The record for the highest climb with a car was set in meters though but I will allways complain on a US story.
But a well founded complaint, and typical US, that the angle is that it is kind of a miracle that the Jimny sell better than the Heep. The fact is that the Jeep have never sold any numbers outside the US elsewhere in the world. Other than during WW2 it was never the point that other 4x4's was measured by.
But very good that the other markets was mentioned at all I guess like Spain, Southern Europe, India and SE-Asia and caribbean markets that have allways been good for the suzuki.

The annual sales figure of the Samurai in the USA, I found quite amazing. I didn't realise they sold so many.
Does make you wonder if Jeep had a hand in the bad marketing it received to kill sales?

It is a very compelling story, but feels very AI scripted. Also, the Jimny models pictured do not match the script, possibly because of AI editing. However, I liked that there was a lot of LJ footage I had not seen before.

That's the trouble with AI (I personally don't like it, too much fake stuff being shown as if it's real and trying to dupe the viewers.) If you start out with a true factual story and use and AI voice over, it gives you doubts. And if you use AI pictures instead of real ones = more doubt!

America has always been afraid of stuff that's been produced elsewhere and is better than what they can make. For once it actually makes me glad to be in the UK because we are kind of relaxed. Even though the Jimny is no longer officially sold in the UK. We can still easily import it in. We are probably one of the few countries doing this in such bulk. The imports have probably outsold the initial amount Suzuki themselves got in. I do feel for the Americans that actually love the Jimny brand. Early Gen 3s are possible for them now but sadly parts are harder to get over there without also buying abroad. Here's one of my favourite Suzuki videos from the states. I used to have a video tape of it and it was more complete than the video posted on YouTube. It was basically a BigJimny meet but on a much bigger scale. They hosted it at the badlands off-road site over a whole weekend. They did activities from an off-road rally, rock crawl challenge, flex off, night time drive, general playing around etc.
