I reckon my SJ restoration cost in the region between 25-30k and always ongoing...... We got a lot of the stuff done for us which adds to the cost but equally also saved a lot with my dad being able to work on the car and get parts. If you look at what a new Jimny costs today then getting a near new SJ equals about the same amount. So in some ways 19k could be a bargain if the work has been done correctly and the car really needs nothing apart from the ongoing maintenance works.
