Hi guys so we’ve got an 06 Jimny and it’s awesome in every way, the only problem we seem to be having is the stereo stops playing sound intermittently. We can’t figure out what it may be as we’ve put a double din CarPlay in and that was working fine until it wasn’t, my boyfriend daily drives the jimny to work and it plays his music perfectly all week, then on the weekend when we go out to do something it just stops playing sound.

It might occasionally play for a second or minute or hour etc. I know it’s not the the stereo itself and I can’t find a circuit diagram to see if there are any relays that it could be, I’ve have a quick look to see if any wires are damaged but I haven’t had a proper good look if I’m being honest so it could just be that. Although the sound doesn’t seem to be affected if there is a damaged wire (no crackling etc) Has anyone else had this?
