I have a 2024 SZ5 - can you replace the standard 195 80 15 tyres with 205 70 15 tyres - without modification?

Yes, but not sure why you'd want too. 215/75R15 will also fit straight on.

However, if you do plan to off road and get a lift. I found 235/75R15 a much better size. But I can't say if this size would be an issue on a stock vehicle.

This first image lets you compare the 205/70 to the 195/70, as you can see it's a little smaller in diameter

The second image shows a 215/75, which is a little taller.

Suzuki themselves have been fitting the 215/75 on limited edition releases

Perhaps you could state why you want to fit 205/70/r15?

I went from 195/80r15 to 215/70r15 on my SZ5, just to get a better tread pattern with more grip for off-road performance, there is more choice in this size.

205/70r15 is what used to be fitted to the previous Jimny and a common upgrade was to go to 215/70/r15.

215 is the way to go. When I swapped over to alloys and 215 tyres we did the left side first and there was a slight ride height increase visible with 215 tyres on the left and less ride height with 195 tyres on the right.
