Whatcha. I need a recommendation for either an attachment or a complete unit for a motorised brush vacuum head? I'm finding that the house vax and the makita don't have the guts to get the carpets in temeraire actually clean just using suction. I have nylon brushes for my drill but all they do is move the little stuck bits to a different bit of carpet where they bury themselves before the vacuum in my other hand can remove them. So I'm wanting something that combines the vigour of the drill brush with an effective vacuum system such that agitated bits are gone. Even something like a cover on the drill brush with a port on it? If it were something bought that might be better than me bodging it.

Ok so I have found an attachment for the compressor, it is like a blow tool crossed with a spinning nozzle off a jet wash. It's still going to need following with the vacuum but it's not going to be like fighting with a brush in a drill. Has anyone used one?
