Just watched it. It was actually a repeat as it was originally shown in 2019. For the eagle eyed viewers you will notice that was the now ex Aldermaston site used at the end of the programme. The price they bought that car for was a bit on the high side at that time especially as it didn't have an MOT but in parts alone you could probably make most of that back. However they did ditch the most expensive part on that car which was the removable hard top which would actually have some significant value now if it was in reasonable condition. They didn't do any restoration work and nothing they did added any value to the car so not a great lesson on flipping cars. The only thing they did do correctly was remove that horrible spring over axle lift. If I came across the same car sitting in a junkyard for the same price I would either just break it up for parts to get the most money out of it without having to spend on the car or it would have to be a full blown restoration but then you would lose money and that car wasn't a good base car to be restored to begin with. So to really flip that car for a profit the answer would be to break it. Interestingly that car never got an MOT and hasn't been on the road since 2015!
