Gen 3 dark grey fir tree fixings was created by rhino666
Can someone tell me where I can get some of these darkish grey fir tree fixings used in various places on GEN 3 - speaker covers boot carpet, boot entrance trim, etc.
The top is about 24mm wide, total length 24mm and around 6.5mm wide fir tree bits.
I need at least 5 and no problem with used if anyone has spares they can let go.
Thank you

i am guessing you mean the plastic plugs that expand and/or the ones that actually looks like christmas trees like you suggest?
They can be bought at motor supplies shops or on ebay. I cannot recommend them though as the cheap ones seem to fit just about not. Everything gets a bit wiggly but sort of stays in place. You can buy a whole kit of them for the price of five original ones.

edit: ebay link above thru tinyurl wich is sort of trusted.
Externally i tend to use cable ties thru drilled holes wich some find unattractive but on my car they tell stories of all the abuse this car acutally have been thru so i think they are cool. And I get to not cut off the excess ends and annoy my friends too. Not everyones cup of tea I guess.
The original suzuki ones cost alot but then they fit nicely and last much longer.

Agree with you on the front end fixings. My 1998 has had an offroad battering in the past and the front arch liners, bumper, etc are now much better served with cable ties:-)
Couldn't find the Fir tree fixings anywhere, so ordered item 4001050827006 from Aliexpress. they look good but a lighter grey, so may have to spray them.
also bought some 4000640711109 which look like a great alternative to the originals. Originals of these or what passes for them are available but stupidly expensive.
The order arrived super quick but sadly the fir tree type fixings were too narrow, my fault, so back to the drawing board for those. The other fixings were very good though.
