Far from excellent condition. Underneath is good for its age and milleage but the interior I would deem a write off. Having been a heavy smokers car the headlining is stained yellow, some of the plastics have faded and the seats and carpets are riddled with smoke. The car would have to be sub 15k in my eyes as really its a project in need of doing up and I would have to change most if not all the interior to get rid of the smell.
As Martin said in the video, the underneath really shows the difference that not dumping corrosive salt all over the roads from November to March makes. Japan enjoys the same sort of climate as we do (it rains- a lot!), just imagine how long our undersealed and rust "proofed" vehicles would last (not just Jimnys) if we found something less corrosive to put down!
If you check out r/jimny on reddit, people in foreign climes post pictures of the underside of cars they are thinking of buying, but are worried that they are "too rusty" for 10 years old and hundreds of thousands of km. I thought they were joking at first- our cars look more rusty on delivery!
