Thank you Martin Lines for this video, explaining how to fit the Gen 4 sill covers.

My December 2019 Jimny had these fitted by the dealer. After five and a half years one of them was coming away from the sill. I unbolted it and pulled it away from the sill. A lot of mud and sand had deposited itself on the back of the sill cover. Your video made it much easier for me to attach new 3M VHB tape and reattach the trim.
I did decide to use the correct primer/activator and managed to buy a small quantity relatively cheaply from Ebay. I suspect the dealer had not used the primer which is a reason why the trim came away.
Now I know how to proceed when the other sill cover starts to fall off!
