I understood that Jimny _Imports ( see Instagram) were able to offer it thorough a deal I introduced them to.ย
I am not sure if they off it to purchasers from other suppliers

Is it necessary to remove & replace the instrument panel with an export-market unit, or is the language change done with just a firmware update?
(I ask because I would like to get my hands on any old instrument pod units that are being discarded, regardless of regional coding.)

I understand you can replace the JDM one with a UK one and it basically works. However not all the functions/lights work.
Therefore the best way is a firmware upgrade that mixes/matches functionality

This is very interesting.
So, without asking for more detail than you might want to give, is it correct to infer from what you said that the ECU can receive updated programming? Or is it the programming of the instrument pod that you are referring to?
