Hi all, need to drop roof liner on gen 4 to fit a new aerial. will the air bags go off when i undo the the front seat belts at the top as the trim behind them needs to be removed. Thanks.

I should add: the risk is actually the other way, that you will damage the airbag not the airbag damaging you.
I assume you are proceeding carefully and (for example) not using sharp tools around delicate interior components. But for others who are not so careful, it is important to keep in mind that the airbag fabric is very easily cut or perforated. Sticking a boxknife or screwdriver into your airbag while running speaker wire is one way that the more ham-fisted among us create airbag safety problems: an airbag won't work well in an accident when your hi-fi installer has punctured it.
But again, airbags don't explode when disturbed; that is a widely-held but nevertheless quite mistaken belief.

I'm assuming that you are having to run an entirely new loom and everything as I would have thought that for just the ariel it would be possible to access the roof structure enough just at the back and supporting the liner down partially with a suitable block or rod?
