Hi,

Does anyone know if the seats in a Gen4 sz5 are the same size and fitting as a Gen3?  In other words, could I take my after-market seats out of my Gen3 and put them in a Gen4?

I know the Gen4 alloys are the same size as the Gen3 alloys but apart from styling is there any advantage to the Gen4 alloys over the Gen3?

I would guess they are the same fittings as a Gen 3 so I would think you could put in aftermarket seats into a Gen 4. If you need any measurements or pictures of the Gen 4 seats then let us know. I think with the alloys it comes down to what you prefer. I’ve seen some Gen 3s sporting Gen 4 alloys which I don’t think look right and vice versa have seen some Gen 4s running Gen 3 alloys which again don’t look right.

The earlier gen3 alloys would look odd on a gen4 but the late ones (57M1-555) are more modern.  At least I hope so, as I've just had a set refurbed in black.
