Are more LCVs coming this year? was created by rogerzilla
Dealers have lots of white LCVs at below list but there are very few in other colours. Are any more expected? I am thinking about trading my MX-5 for one but it's another 3 months before I can get the best price for that - they are very seasonal!

Most likely.
But you should be able to order one in the colour you want. Martin will know better than anyone about how long delivery will be but it's probably months rather than days.

Both of mine took around 4 weeks when I ordered them. They are only assigned when they are on the ship so they will have already started their journey. I believe they are trickling in throughout the year (I can’t remember the numbers). I think you probably could walk into a Suzuki dealer now and order one in the colour you wanted and they would just assign a car already built and on its way to you. Still some
dealers trying silly money but lots are now list price as cars just aren’t selling well at the moment. I guess the coloured cars are a bit more eye catching but I do think a White Jimny is underrated. With a few mods and accessories it can look very smart.

I like the blue best but would be happy with black. Yellow looks great too, but I wouldn't want it parked outside my house the whole time!

Local dealer is getting ten next month but no idea what colours they will be yet. They get what they're given.

Yes. Like the end of last year they seem to have found a lot to send

My SO says she will lend me the money until the MX-5 sells, so I'll see if they can get me one that isn't white or silver. Even hearing aid beige sort of works on them.
The local dealer sends some LCVs to a specialist to have rear seats fitted.
Update: I have given the local dealer a deposit and asked them to try to reserve a blue one. If not, anything but white or silver. VED is a bit expensive, but barely more than my MX-5, which is taxed based on CO2 so is nearly £300/year (outrageous for a 41mpg car, when you can buy a new car that does 25mpg and is taxed at £180).
