Hi fellow Jimny enthusiasts, I have just installed a bullbar on my Jimny which I estimate around 30ish KG in weight and am now looking into a lift kit, I have found the OME 40mm kit which can come with medium duty or Heavy duty front springs depending on weight, the 30ish KG is currently without a winch installed and am wondering if I should go with the Heavy Duty springs, my only concern is ride as I don't want to make it stiffer, I have already read that the medium duty springs from the OME kit are already stiffer then the standard springs, on average what is the weight of a winch that will be enough for a Jimny? so I can decide if the heavy duty will be needed or not, let me know what you guys think or if you have any other suggestions for lift kits available. cheers

That entirely depends on your definition of "enough". My 4,500lb winch with synthetic rope is 10kg and drags the Jimny about just fine on the standard single battery setup. I would imagine this would be fine with the medium springs.
Some fit 13,000lb winches which weigh around 40kg and require a second battery to run at their optimum, adding further weight. If that appeals to you then you should definitely be looking at the heavier duty setup.
