On our 2020 Jimny, after it's rained and you drive downhill there's what sounds like a tap running for about thirty seconds.
Obviously water is draining from somewhere but there's quite a lot of it.
Is this normal. Could something be blocked maybe. On my van this would happen if the drain hole in the scuttle was blocked and eventually water would get into the car through the heater.

This is normal for the Gen 4. It’s all the water sitting on the roof channelling itself off the car when you start driving along.

We watched James' Jimny bring driven out for collection last Saturday and it was truly impressive the amount of water it was shedding.
A wave of water came off the back and then two streams poured out from under the rear of the front wheel arches which I assume is coming down from the front scuttle and down the drains at the top of the wings. As this flow was delayed a couple of seconds I assume this is the water flow noise

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

All that water pours onto the driver's seat when you opened the door in a Gen 3, thankfully for the Gen 4 Suzuki went back to the 1960s and fitted a gutter.
My woefulRenault Nissan does it now, the roof is completely level and covered in water, opening the door tilts the roof towards the open door, and a waterfall cascades onto the edge of the seat and into the car. At least the Gen 3 had ribs in the roof to reduce the amount...
My woeful

I got into the SJ earlier after a downpour at the wrong angle. Pints of water in through the slightly open door. Had to change my jumper, jeans and pants. 10yr old in the passenger seat nearly passed out with laughter
