Impossible to say. Incorrectly installed bearings have a habit of seizing up suddenly. It won't take many minutes to remove the hub and fit it.

It's called a " wheel bearing washer" and it's purpose is to spread the load between the bearing inner race and the lock nut without applying pressure to the bearing outer race. If, when you tightened the nut, you did not sense any catching/restriction between bearing and the shaft you should be OK, but putting the washer where Suzuki deemed it necessary, sooner than later, would be a good idea.
