Attention Gen 1 (LJ) , Gen 2 (SJ) and Gen 3 Jimny owners.
Could you be available in LONDON on the 16th and 17th of MAY (with your car of course) for a TV show?
We need to select ONE for a TV line up.
Please send me a photo of the Jimny and one paragraph describing how Jimny mad you are (not the technical details of the vehicle, describe how the madness affects you). ie. I have 10 of the things, a daughter called Sierra and a son called HopeStar (for real fans!), I have cut one up and made a bed out of it so I can sleep in it every night...
I will pass all the photos and text to the TV company for selection
The line-up does not involve hard driving will be a simple drive in a car park.
As a follow-up the TV company may then want to attend the BigJimnyMeet at Aldermaston to meet a broader selection of mad fools (this is where Gen4 owners can get involved)

Some people have requested more details.
A TV production company is filming a new programme for channel 4 . It is based around a group of presenters choosing a 4x4 from a line up of vehicles that they want to investigate further. They will look and comment on the car on the day and then follow up by investigating the chosen model further. So this would then result in them visiting other owners, looking in their garages and visiting events such as the BigJimny event to meet others and their cars. So on the couple of days of filming it's the selection process. I suspect it is like top gear (but it's not top gear!!) where they start with a line up of all 4x4 models to discuss. If called for the lineup your car would be parked up and discussed. If then selected they will film further and bring in the Jimny community.
Of course, you have to be prepared for them to either love or hate your car. it's TV after all and they will say contraversal things sometimes
