Space for 13mm Socket. was created by tomcat
I have a big favour to ask of someone.
To refit my front bumper I am considering upsizing the bolt from 6mm to 8mm.
[See my posting Helicoil or Tap}
I would then need to use a 13mm socket.
Does this fit in the gap available? Information appreciated. Thanks.

If you do that why not use a cap head Allen bolt then you don't have to fit a socket round the outside?

Lambert's suggestion is a fine idea, but for both I suspect a suitable washer is a must to spread the load on the ABS plastic.
The OME fixing (large dome head) on a 2009 is the same diameter as a typical size as a 13mm, so I suspect a socket will clear.

Will have the angle bracket for a bull-guard to spread the load so that not a problem.
