Brake load sensing valve

Brake load sensing valve was created by tomcat
An advisory on the latest MOT for my vehicle stated:
"Brake load sensing valve linkage defective but function not impaired Rear [1.1.17(a)]"
Can anyone clarify how this can be dealt with please?
Does a new valve complete with linkage or are they separate?
Exploded diagram anyone??
Thanks

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I've no idea how the linkage can be defective but function not impaired!
The valve has a lever that connects to a little bracket on the diff casing via a spring. As the axle goes down it moves the lever and cuts off the fluid to the rear brakes. The bracket is adjusted to give the correct tension on the spring when the axle is unloaded.
If the car has extended springs, the bracket requires adjustment, or something fabricating.
The pipe from the primary (front) brakes is so if the front brakes fail the valve allows all the pressure in the secondary (rear) circuit to reach the brakes, and you hope that the thing will still stop. The bleed screw is for the front circuit as there is no exit from that primary pipe.
I'm surprised you have one with the 2-tone paint, I thought they were all ABS by then.
I heard that the valve itself is no longer available, the one from a Nissn Navara looks like it could be made to fit, the Mitsubishi ones have the lever facing the other way.

Thank you for your comments.
Much clearer now.
The two tone paint is not as original. Work of a previous owner.

It appears the valve is still available.
My source at local Suzuki dealer informs me the Part number is
51930-81A01-000 at cost of £318.88p.
Superseded number was 51930-81A00-000.

You will have to have a look underneath to see what "defective linkage means" .
Could be the spring, or the axle bracket or the lever on the valve. Like I said, I can't see how it can be defective yet still work.
