Where to get a diff installed?

Toying with the idea of buying a Quaife ATB for the rear of my Jimny, but I've no idea where to get it installed once I buy it.

Any recommendations for garages/workshops who know what they're doing with Jimnys? Closer to the South East the better, but I'm willing to travel to get the job done right.

Thanks.

Don't know any specific ones down south but when I get that far with Tem I'm probably going to talk to a gearbox rebuilding place like RS transmissions in Bradford which is probably a bit far for you.

One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

What about  Buzz Special Vehicles  ?

They have done quite a few Jimny builds as well as Jeeps.

I bought my OME lift kit from them, but they are a bitt too far for me to visit.

Any reputable gearbox repair shop should be able to do it for you.

I took the chance to do all the half shaft bearings and seals whilst it was apart, only added an hour and its a fully refurbed axle....

You don't need a Jimny specialist. Rear beam axles are still a common commodity, most pickup trucks use them, so a look on Google for your area will supply enough for your needs.
On the other hand, removing a diff. unit is not difficult and does not require an above average tool kit although you will require a torque wrench, spring gauge and dial gauge and magnetic stand to re-assemble it. If you want to give it a go, there are people on this forum who can assist.
