However a possible positive note is that there appears to be a red one ( although could be a Photoshop)

What we have here is the Jimny version of the Series Landover SWB and LWB.
The LWB was never as popular and even today the SWB is the on to have, but it was more comfortable on the road, the extra length and weight somehow made it a better ride.
Interesting to know if the Jimny ,"jiggle" has also been improved in this 5 door version.

I too think it is too long for the best visual impression. But driving and inside must be great.
But still there was allways those that made a Land rover on a Range Rover chassi to get the right wheelbase of 100 inches right? And similar for the Wrangler that now there is a short and long but in the US they have to make the correct length themselves
As my LWB gen 2 Jimny, the overhang at the rear is too much and should be bobbed like some folks do to the RR classic.
I think if they could meet in the middle it would be better all in all.
But there is no pleasing for some of us. Not ever

I wonder if they are going to do it as a hard top like the 70 series troopy from Toyota, that could be a good base for an expedition camper.

This is the picture I particularly dont like. From an angled picture the "forshortening" makes it look not too bad but this picture shows the slab side look that does not appeal to me

Nothing that a set of huge tires wouldn't fix
Of course it would need to be your "sizzling red" (Suzuki's name - not mine)
