A drive along the Green Lane that runs across the top of Hallington Reservoir.
The start (a gate)
Another Gate
Down to the reservoir and across the dam
OK not a gate, but a nice setting for a photo.
The video
Thanks
Robin

What a pretty place. I might have to detour that on my way up to Wooler in November.

You would enjoy this lane, sheep, cows and even a large bull in the fields (not bothered by my Jimny), but take a gate opener, there was 6 gates on this route, 7 if you include the one that was already open.
After crossing over the B6342 (where I finished) the lane continues up to Little Swinburne and then a road goes past Colt Crag Reservoir up to the A68.
