Has anyone tried the comforser tyres as listed on the jimnystyle website?
Seem to be good value.

Unfortunately not and I don't know of anyone who has. Looking at them they don't look bad, quite similar to my radar renegade at5 actually. They are going to have to at least meet the minimum standards of grip, noise and lifespan to be sold here anyway.

I had never heard of them until a couple of months ago, there is.a VW camper van with Comforser tyres fitted on my morning dog walking duty. I noticed the chunky pattern and wondered what they are.
I have no experience of them and guess they might be similar to my Hankook ATm (which I like), but reading the reviews the CF1100 seems to have strong side walls and a subsequent harsh ride, but you never know with user reviews unless the website has lots from different users.
At the price you can get the Hankook or Radar tyres and that includes fitting. If you want something less aggressive, Geolandars are about £10 cheaper inc fitting at the moment on Blackcircles. I have these on my summer wheels and think they are good.

I have those on my 3.5t AWD for transit.
I bought them as a replacement for the BFG KO2's I had on it for the 1st 62k miles.
They in my opinion perform as well as the KO2 in all conditions and possibly even better in ice and snow as they seem a softer compound.
They are a softer ride being less plies (î rather than 10 on the lt versions) but still tough enough for most driving.
They are a similar noise level to the KO2.
The only negative is that rather than 60k plus miles I expect them to only do 40k on my van as they are clearly a softer compound.
At less than half the price though they would have to wear out twice in 60k to cost me anywhere near a dull set of BFG.
I have just bought a set for my Jimmy in 215/75/15 to replace the road tyres on it and expect them to last quite a while on there.
They do also look good and chunky and the sidewall letters always look cool.
Just my opinion based on about 12k on my AWD transit which has been used in mud, ice an snow and rows up to 2.5t in and out of muddy fields and on icy roads.
