Hey, I was just wondering if anyone runs 225/80r15 tyres on their gen 3 with a 2inch lift? and what offset are you running aswell?

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

On my gen 3 with 2" lift and 235/75/15 the best option to "clear" the original and unmodified fenders is to use the original wheel offset. I use the original alloys. there will be rubbing.

as soon as i posted this question i realised that there arent many tyres in the size i mentioned. see i would like to go 235s but from my understanding the stock wheels arent wide enough for the 235s, have you had any problems with the stock alloys?

225/75R15 need minimum 6" rim and 235/R15 need minimum 6.5" rim.

There's no hard and fast rule on this, it's down to the manufacturer of the tyre in question to stipulate the minimum and maximum wheel size for each size and model of tyre they provide. They are supposed to publish this information under law but it's invariably very well hidden.
