You got to see this folks, a Jimny on stilts.
www.finn.no/car/used/ad.html?finnkode=239108478
But the price is wild. at 600000 NOK with todays currency it equals to 50000 GBP.
would be 20000 pounds cheaper if it had an electric motor.
Usually the JB74 is priced at 450-500000 NOK.

It looks great, but what a price and certainly even more by the time it is imported in to another country.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I have a vague recollection of someone doing a kit for portals a few years back, there was a thread on here about it.
If you google Jimny portal axles, there are plenty of hits, and it turns out a bolt on kit is available, one source seems to be tibus-offroad, but I don't know if they make them, looking at uk.motor1.com/news/545156/suzuki-jimny-p...l-axles-modifcation/ there are some photos of what you actually want to see.
It would be cheaper to invest in a haflinger though

Tibus bolt-on portal units. They've been around for a while. They adapt the Jimny axles rather than completely replace them like most portal conversions.
