Hi everyone,
Unfortunately my Jimny just failed it's MOT pretty catastrophically on chassis and body rust, and I'm trying to work out what to do with it next. The garage estimated that the welding would cost £2700 and I'm sure it isn't worth that much (and I have been thinking of selling anyway). I think it is probably worth something for spares and repairs though because it has a lot of good modification parts and it is really good mechanically (80k miles, new clutch, well maintained). I can't break it myself because I don't have any space (I live in a flat) and I'm also quite limited on time and skill. I don't want to just scrap it because that would be a waste.
My main questions at this point are:
1) what sort of price would it be worth? (details in signature)
2) what would be the best way to transport it to a buyer and roughly how much would I expect to pay?
3) are there any other options I have missed/anything else I should do with it?
Many thanks!
