Noticed this on the collecting cars website.

Jungle Green would have been my preferred colour if it had come to the UK.

$30k AUD with 3 days to go. About £16k in GBP

I think a lot of people would have opted for jungle green- it was my first choice too.

But I think the market Suzuki were selling to prefer the brighter colours to stand out in the street, not hide in a wood ;)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Precisely why I love the quasar grey of Temeraire style on the street and stealth in the woods, perfect.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

My favourite colours on the Gen 4 are green and grey, neither of which are available here. Why do we always get the usual boring stuff in the UK?

Just had a firm offer of £28K from a motor dealer. It's getting tempting now. Only thing is no more SZ5s to replace it, LCV only.

I agree the UK often seems to get shafted on some things. But I'd say in general grey is a boring colour. The UK certainly got the vibrant luminous yellow and electric blue.

Unfortunately I had to trade in my 2020 SZ5 in as it wasn't powerful enough to pull my 950kg caravan. The deal was agreed 4 months ago and I got £25k against a new top of the range 4x4 Dacia Duster, they had to give me cash back. My Jimny is now their website for just under £30k.

Look at it this way, they haven't sold it yet and they only realise the profit when they do sell it.  They might not get what they paid you if the market falls quickly.

We had the same problem, have ordered a small "adventure pod" type caravan called a Basecamp 2

While the Jimny will tow this 1,000kg caravan,l was advised that performance would be marginal, and l would be hated on hills, cars would overtake and "fingers would come out of windows"

We'll use my Defender 110, although it would have been nice to have the Jimny to use while in holiday in the caravan.

That dealer markup on the Jimny is pretty normal, a figure of £3-5,000 is what they would hope to make, more in a higher priced vehicle.

As said, they've got to sell it first! lt's likely that the buyer will want over the odds for their part exchange etc

Still no sign of values dropping though. l would love to know if Motorway would actually pay the £29,500 their website offered for our 6,000 mile 2020 SZ5

They're definetely more keen on an SZ4 than an LCV!

l seriously doubt that they would pay £29,500 for my  2020 SZ5

Although asking prices still seem to be creeping up.
