My wife's second car was a brand new SJ413 1986 D reg, we took it to the Rhino Rally and I rolled it when it was about a year old...
Anyone remember the Rhino Rally? 300+ Suzuki's off road, we went to Arena Essex, Long Valley and marshalled at Trentham gardens.

l don't think the Jimny was designed for that kind of terrain, but if the guy has enough money to throw at a brand new one, and then treat it like that, l guess it's up to him.

I suspect he was being willfully inept for the camera and deliberately making a meal of it given the relative ease with which he made it to the top of the obstacle on the second round.

People's pockets have varying depths, what's a bit of spare cash for one will be a serious investment for another.
So why not if you can afford it, but as Lightening said it's still the wrong play thing for that sort of terrain in my opinion You are getting towards acustom made rock crawler or Dave's buggy.
You need a roll cage for a starter, it's amazing how quickly things can turn upside down once you start to push the envelope, more so if you have jacked It the air as this chap has.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

The guy has obviously spent a great deal of money on his Gen.4 and illogically believes that as well as making the car better it would improve his driving ability.
It didn't.

Yes I remember the Rhino rallies. I went to Long Valley and Trentham gardens but not Arena Essex but I also went to Holland on a couple of occasions. I was always amazed at the huge number of entrants and spectators and the events were always well organised.
