The system will relearn (eventually) the position of the tyres. It should take 10 minutes after a 20 minute park up but is a bit unreliable sometimesPNP wrote: on JB74's (Gen4) with the OEM TPMS, one has to be careful when rotating the tyres, so, if tyres are rotated, then the TPMS will show incorrectly the position of which tyre has an issue due to the rotation change...

good to know ML, I have been observing the BFG KM3s' fitted on my JB74W and the tread wear all around after 20K km was ~1mm

I think I will do a 5 tyre rotation setup. Maybe every 7500km to be on the safe side.
Rotating four will be the easiest, but 5 will ensure that all wear reasonably evenly and should give me some additional mileage since all are being used.

I use a five tyre rotation for 2 reasons:
1. The spare needs to be rotated in to the mix otherwise it becomes too old and the compound goes hard with age.
2. I use M/T's and after a while the blocks start to wear unevenly. Rotating helps the tread blocks to wear evenly.
