Having upgraded from the Gen3 to a Gen4 myself, here are the things that I appreciate about the Gen4:
LED headlights. So much better than the halogens. Auto high beam is nice too.
Climate control. It's nice to set the temperature and let it do the work.
Cruise control. Being able to give the accelerator foot a rest on a long trip.
Flat floor.
Extra kW.
20% better economy.
For me it was worth the extra money, but it was only $27k NZ new, (13.5k pounds?), so a no brainer.

There's a waiting list of over 6 months here too. The NZ top model doesn't have heated seats or TPMS.
And they've gone up in price a few thousand since I bought mine, sorry!

The Jimny is no longer being imported to the UK. lf you want one you will have to pay the going rate. l bought ours at five months old from a private seller and it cost me 20% over the list price.
Although it does have some extras such as the front grille, Kinetic Yellow paint, mud flaps etc.
l thought about it for a while but decided it was still a better buy than the VW T-Roc, Polo, Volvo XC40, Audi A1 etc that we'd also looked at.
As those cars would have already lost probably 25% of their value. Where l've had several offers already to buy the Jimny for pretty much what we paid for it.
I don't expect the price premium for the Jimny to last, when the fuss dies down l think values will fall, but l predict that they will always hold their value well compared to other cars.
I will mention it again though, my local Suzuki dealer is now selling their Kinetic Yellow SZ5 demonstrator for £21,000
And that's from a dealer with the security/ease
of payment
The price includes a Waxoyl treatment to the chassis etc if the buyer wants it.
