Some brilliant photo opportunities in Plovdiv, Tony...Bulgaria's oldest city...wish I was going with you, but you'd have no room 12kgs of cameras and lenses...

Take care, my friend....look forward to the journey in pictures...

Drive carefully,

Good luck Tony and enjoy the trip.
I have you and Lambert to thank for towing larger items than I expected with the Jimny. Tomorrow I collect a slightly larger caravan, which is not difficult if you have seen the current one. Avoid Norwich, slow moving load expected
Bon voyage
Mike

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

You guys are doing some prettying epic road trips.

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

Thanks for the good wishes all....

Second leg begins tonight, driving from Walthan Abbey to Dover. I have to report no incidents or problems towing the Iona from Middlesbrough to Waltham Abbey, completed the 250 miles in about 5 hours of steady driving on the A1(M) - M25 motorways. No oil leaks or overheating.

No internet for the next 7-8 days, I'll report back when I reach home.

Coming and going.
Onward onward I drove,
Two thousand miles on this rove.
To fish and walk in gentle countryside,
But, I found covid-19 onside.

Onward onward I'll drive,
To home and wife I'll strive.
Across the sea to land,
I'll have the sat nav at hand.

It was planned to be, a walk a week,
A sit by stream and river.
I'll come again when health is better,
And the land I'll see again, the grass, my kids and the heather.

Tony...

All complete - arrived home this morning about 8.0 am. Had no problems at all with the Jimny, it did all I expected of it. Miles of various conditions were met with stoicism, 2,150 in all. I'll give the Jimny a rest and check it for oil leaks bubbled hoses that sort of thing to see how it's faired. Thanks for the support and well wishes,. I was alone throughout the journey so it helped, psychologically. Tony.

Not exactly without a headache Soeley - just the Jimny doing well.. I was caught by the German police who were very professional and humanly they were sympatric to my illegal travelling, even though, they fined me €100.00 we shook hands at the end of it. I'll give you all three guesses what I did illegally throughout Europe... Tony.
