Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

It just looks like the old defender and nothing wrong with that in my opinion. But as Busta said above the price will be the deal breaker in my opinion. If the price is high it's going to have a limited market in the long run. I am sure it will sell initially to the too much money and want to be first demographic, but after this it will have strong competition in the work sector from Nissan etc. If they go luxury it's another premium manufacturer in a reducing market with a limited product life unless they go electric (it's the future).
So may be a short lived offering, but I am often wrong luckily.

I see where you're coming from Riccy! Something about the curves at the front edge of the bonnet is very Ssangyong esque.
It has been said that driving straight into a river is the best thing you can do with one. But no, they aren't amphibious.

Never seen that car before... actually thought it was amphibious at first...but it just looks like a boat

Looks like the Santana version of the Landy. I quite like it, certainly like it a load more than the new Def.
I'd be tempted by a SWB, but can't see them starting below £40k, so probably too rich for me.

If it were a short wheel base and selling in a hose out spec for 15 to 20k plus vat it could be useful especially if it tows 3500kg.

BMW engine & electrics. Forget it. You can't even disconnect the battery on a BMW, without a recovery to the dealers for a ECU reset.

I'm massively disappointed. It's been hyped up for so long and comes out looking like a Defender 110 with a Nissan Patrol style rear door set up.
I think it lacks imagination and I shall stop now as I can only see myself getting more cutting.
