Mine's on an 06 plate with circa 80k on the clock, and its been great.
Yes I've had to do some maintenance but thats to be expected

Just to clarify as there are some confusing bits of advice above.

You want a hard top between 2000 X plate to 2004 Model Year with the stick transfer box. 2005 cars will have the push button transfer box and the dodgy gearbox, unless you find a late registered one with the stick transfer box but I doubt you will.

Otherwise it's a 2010 year car onwards.

There are some low mileage, good condition Jimnys out there, you just have to pay for them and expect to travel. Just get photos sent of the boot floor and behind the headlights before you travel so you know what you are travelling to see.
