Whatcha. I don't have the factory roof rails anymore and it is good. However I have need to carry a selection of hurdles for penning seeps. I have trailers but they are not always convenient. Before I head for halfords with a tape measure has anyone found a set of feet for normal bars that have the same twin bolt pattern as the existing studs on the roof of a gen3, save me looking in every box?

I am on a similar quest as you and I have found this forum topic which might (in a way) offer a similar solution:
www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/6-jimny...ith-roof-bars#217094
It is not a straight bolt-on solution as it requires some modifications to be performed.
