Whenever I go out in the car I always see other Jimnys. I literally cannot remember a drive out when I didn't see any others. When I lived in Hertfordshire I would go a week or two without seeing a single Jimny.
Haven't seen any Gen 4s yet, but Gen 3s are everywhere I look! Lots of Vitaras too.

Yours looks just like mine, even down to the roof rack, so good job my holidays in the New forest this year. Not that many in Stoke on Trent, now officially seen more Gen4 s :woohoo:
Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

I only ever saw one in-the-flesh Gen 4 so far and that was at the dealer who told me I'd have an 18 month wait! LOL. I'm happy with my Gen 3 facelift for now.

They are very popular round these parts. Getting thm to wave back at me is surprisingly difficult but I'm working on it.
I see a couple of Gen 2s around here occasionally. One is really f*cked - I'm surprised it's still drivable going by the state of the bodywork. Can't remember last time I saw a Gen 1. Must be years.
The waving thing. There's one guy I see sometimes when I go between St Austell and Mevagissey. He seems to do the acknowledgement thing. Some others respond if I do it first and about half sail past obliviously.
The most enthusiastic response I ever had from another driver was when I had my brand new, black 2001. I was on the way to work one morning when I saw headlights flashing in my RV mirror and heard a horn beeping. The driver of a new, gold-coloured Jimny behind mine was waving frantically. When we got to a bit where two lanes filtered into one, she suddenly overtook me. As she went past with her windows down she just yelled "Jiiimmmnnnyyyy!" and then cut in in front of me. She kept waving until I turned off up a side road. Nutter.
