THe reason these people sell their demos for £25k is because they are not getting and demo money from Suzuki as Suzuki will not support the sale of these cars.

Rightly so places so desperate as chapel house and the others selling them are disgusting for this. They can make all the claims they want about simple fact is they are con merchants.

I think I'm up to having contacted over 25 dealers in recent weeks and still no 'breaks' in finding the right one, as per above. Four SZ4 silver cars have been available though, which (no offense to others who have it) would be one of my least favourite combinations (and this I guess others too if they were the ones available).

Hi ,

Long time Jimny owner who has had new one on waiting list since october and repost paid and paperwork done the beginning of December with Appleyard's of Huddersfied , missed 1st 5 cars as someone higher up list from other got my colour choice .

I have been following this thread with details about about the ship Leo Spirit incidentally now docked in Zeebrugge and so called March delivery ie. 2nd quarter .

I have just been on the phone to Suzuki GB customer service who say that they have no knowledge of any ship names or deliveries !!

There latest info . is that there will be no more cars until 3rd quarter ie. September !! So please does anybody know what the hell is going on ?
An absolute shambles .

Ian

That would explain how i got hold of my silver SZ4 within a week or first inquiring.

My understanding is that the cars on the Leo spirit are the first quarter allocation for dealers that haven't had the first cars yet. This is definitely the case for the car I have a deposit on. So if Appleyards of Huddersfield have already had their first allocation, it's possible that it could be September before they get any more.

Thanks for your reply . It is Suzuki GB that is saying there are no more cars for anybody nationwide due until 3rd quarter ie. September and then they do not know how many . Appleyards know nothing basically .

Strange, as it's suzuki own dealer system that says the cars are on Leo spirit and due for delivery march.

I'd imagine the cars are all spoken for, perhaps that's why they are unwilling to talk about it. Who knows, the whole situation is very frustrating.

I think my maths would indictate that quarter three starts in the seven month of the year, so July rather than September.

My correspondance with Suzuki UK was that they told me when my car was 'built' and 'in transit' at which point they asked for the correspondance to be with the supplying dealer who knows which boat it is on, but not really how quickly they will get the car (even if they know when it docks at Grimsby, they won't know how long it will take to get on a transporter to them).

As an aside I think there may be another boat, just behind Leo Spirit that has some on...which between them should account for the deliveries currently quoted as being for March/April and which constitute the very first batch of deliveries for some dealers.

Thanks for all the input . I was literally quoting what Suzuki GB customer service told me this afternoon at 1600.

So would you ZT260 advise me contacting them by email re. my deposit taken, documented firm order ..

I am thoroughly confused

I've generally corresponded over social media (e.g. Facebook private message say), as that's seems to illicit responses in this modern age. Email has been very slow when I've used it.

I should have said that I don't know your exact situation but what I described above was for an order that has an allocation. Suzuki UK tell a dealer what cars they have allocated them and so are to be built. Your dealer could have taken a deposit and a firm order for a car yet to be allocated to them, and so I don't expect there would be any info available from anyone until Suzuki UK allocate to your dealer. I don't think dealers know what they are getting for the second half of the year, so they may not be able to help. I was talking about the first round of allocations to dealers which are still not delivered yet.
