My joy for you is tempered by my frustration of the 6 month wait with multiple promises and I still don't know when it's coming.
I was told by my dealer that dealers aren't allowed to order options until the car is actually in the UK. What a system!

Well i actually share your concern Bill . So much so that i'm half expecting my jimny to arrive fully kitted up on Tuesday, with a welcome of:..... "Hello Mr Andy...unfortunately, the car has turned up with over £1500 of accessories already fitted......Do you still want it or not?". Hahaaaa! But i'm going to try and remain optimistic at this point, and hope thatthis (imagined) eventuality does NOT happen.

I think the dealers info (regarding them not ordering accessories beforehand) pertains to the dealer NOT knowing if there allocations will turn up kitted-up from the factory. That's what i meant by my comment, as in - If the dealer orders you £700 of accessories, and then your jimny turns up with kit already fitted and totally different, the dealer will be stuffed. And so too the customer, probably.

Ive heard many cases where the jim has turned up FULLY kitted up. The dealer then says to the customer, take it or leave it.

I also think some dealers aint been informed that the jims may turn up fully loaded, and so they take accessory orders early (like my dealer has).

Tuesday may be interesting in more ways than one

I have ordered a Kenetic Grellow Sz5 with about £1800 of accessories, although I got a cracking deal and they only cost me £1150. So from reading the above.... I might get a car void of accessories..... with some but not what ordered or a mixture of some I do and some I dont??????? or a miracle and i get what i want. Confused of Hampshire.
