The New jimny is now on the Suzuki UK website in the new car section, however it shows the price as TBC. The generation 4 Jimny official Suzuki promotion is very different from the GEN 3 Jimny, The previous GEN 3 tried to appease the city car user and the off roader with their strap line "Smart in the city and tough in Nature". The GEN 4 makes no bones about it and it is appealing to the off roader using terms like "Uncompromising features define the Jimny as a serious off-roader." and "Designed for Professionals". I think they will be on for a winner with this new approach, even if you just bump kerbs its still a great badge/kudos to have as a serious off road vehicle...... just like the old LR Defender.

Still no indication of towing capacity.

I hope they do a poverty spec. auto rather than having to pay for a load of bling, like alloy wheels and cameras....

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

I'm also wondering how different it is from the now Gen3, when it comes to installing 3rd party parts. Like suspension kits etc.

On the basis that on the Japanese launch day the leading modifiers posted pictures of them collecting their standard new Jimny in the morning and then off-roading it with lift kit and new wheels in the evening I believe existing lift kits seem to bolt straight on. The pictures of the lift kit when fitted look just like an off-the shelf kit.
